Removal of non-user created content:There has been a moderate amount of content, mainly reviews, that people have posted here. I've been ok with that in the past, so long as the user linked back to the original content. However, I'm starting to take down those threads and I ask that you please only post content that you've created. If you're going to use content from another site, please make sure that at least about half of the post is yours and give credit to what's not.
The arcade:The arcade scores have been stagnant for a while, with no one playing the games. Therefore, I've reset the scores to give everyone an equal opportunity to get high scores again. I think with the amount of games in the arcade, we should reset them every six months. This isn't definite, though. I'd like your opinion on how often we should do this.
Also, you'll once again have to post in order to use the arcade.
Removing totally inactive members:All members that have not logged in for 30 days and never posted have been removed.
Removed features:The quiz center and user blogs have been removed, due to lack of interest and use in them. The shoutbox isn't like it used to be, but we still have a pretty good one going right now.
Feedback:We can't get any better if you don't tell us what you want to see more or less of on here!
New theme and logo:As part of the forum software upgrade, we're running a different theme. This is the third major theme change in TNH's history. I've also made a new logo for it that matches the new theme.
IRC channel and bot:Remember, we have an IRC channel! Just connect to irc.subzeroirc.net with your favorite client and join the channel #tnh. If you don't have an IRC client, you can use our website's client. Just go to the Extras menu at the top and select
"IRC Chat". While my account is always logged in there, I may not actually be connected. I'll almost always be under the name Link or Slone. If I'm not opped (operator), don't start a private chat with me. Chances are that my account disconnected and I'm not there or someone's impersonating me. Only send sensitive information via PM or email
