Hideki Motosuwa, a young farm boy going to a prep school in the modern world, desperately wants to conform and have his own Persocon. You see, a Persocons is a humanoid based computer that can walk, talk, and interact just like a human. By chance one late night Hideki finds himself lost in a back alley. Out of nowhere he passes a lone Persocon lying in a heap of garbage. This triggers an amazing series of love, sorrow, and pure laughter. Chii, Hideki's Persocon by chance is a clueless new generation under the name "Chobits." Let this anime take you to a world of which many desire. The utter cuteness is one thing, but the brilliant story line and characters are another. In every one of the episodes there is a conflict, whether small or large, it always is good.
Throughout the story line you begin to understand more and more about Persocons and how they operate. You can't even imagine that kind of hardware today. With the legendary Chobits every spec of the hardware and software tripled. They are considered to be the most advanced Persocons in the world. Unlike regular Persocons Chobits are said to have a complex OS that actually can show emotion.
