Rules Revision 4 (Updated February 27, 2010) :

These are the rules of my website. When you checked the box labled "I agree", you agreed to this set of rules and any other updates in the future. If you can abide by these rules, you'll have a great time. If you can't, then you may suffer the consequences.



Accounts:
1. The Ninja's Hideout is a community site; we post about various topics and discuss them. Accounts that have no activity and have not been signed into within 30 days will be purged from time to time to keep our database clean.

Global Rules:
1. Respect the site staff and all other members.
2. There are users of all ages using this forum, keep that in mind.
3. No pornography - not even links to it.
4. Profanity - Shit happens. I know. Just don't overuse it.
5. Don't spam the forums.
6. Do not post or link to illegal materials.
7. Follow the rules of a thread that the first user defines.
8. Try to keep a positive attitude on the forums.
9. If you have problems with anything, PM a staff member.
10. Use common sense. Seriously. Just because I don't have something written here doesn't mean it's right.
11. I'd rather you post original content, but if you must post content from another site, quote your source! Place a link to the original source at the end of the article, at least.
12. Don't spam or flood the shoutbox.

Gallery Rules:
1. No pornography.
2. No extremely racist images.
3. This is not an image hosting site; please do not hotlink images.

Arcade:
1. No cheating. *sighs* Yes, I have to say it, because if I don't, then it might happen.

IRC Chat:
1. IRC chat is seperate from the site. We ask that you still respect others, but we're pretty laid back in our channel (#tnh).

Affiliation:
1. TNH is only willing to affiliate with sites that we can respect. Don't request to affiliate us if you're providing illegal downloads or hosting a site with highly offensive content.

Email:
1. Please only sign up for one email @whatninja.com.
2. We do not monitor emails sent or received from TNH's email service. However, if spam or harrasment is reported, we may disable your email account.

Donations and arcade pass:
1. If a payment has been made, we are not under any terms obligated to return it to you. If we can, however, we will probably refund it if needed.

Communications with staff:
1. The staff here at TNH are here to help, but please show respect and speak good English. If you can not speak English, use a translation service if possible. "y i banned???" is not good English, for example.

Extra Notes:
1. Moderators have permission to move, modify, or delete posts as they feel neccesary. They may also remove shouts from the shoutbox.
2. Administrators have the right, only if they feel that it is absolutely necessary to:
a) Read reported PM's of other users.
b) Issue a partial or full ban for a certain length of time.
3.While we strive to keep our community calm and peaceful, sometimes people are determined to break the rules. We try our best to negotiate with the user before we take action. Depending on the severity of the rule(s) broken we might:
a) Send a warning PM describing the way the rule was broken.
b) Issue a partial ban, such as disallowing use of the shoutbox and/or posting in the forum.
c) Restrict activities such as gallery and arcade access.
d) Issue a full ban on the user for a certain amount of time.
e) If the user is persistent on avoiding a ban, we may ban the IP address of the user.
4. These rules may change at any time, and we will give notice when they do.
