What's the difference
« on: March 09, 2009, 07:53:31 PM »
So this is how this little game works, poster number 1 list's two things, they can be similar, polar oposites, they just can't be the same thing, and then poster number names a diference between those two things

Ex: Oil and salt: One is hydrophilic the other hydrophobic.

So, I'll get us started. Space and a Vacuum

Let's see if I understand this game.

Although space is a vacuum it differs from a regular vacuum by displacement of an object. In space the vacuum doesn't cause an object to move at all. However a commercial vacuum moves a substance into a space which is n longer pressurized. Hope that sums it up for yah.

Well, a white dwarf is a star that has due to old age either shed it's outer layers leaving only it's core, or s star that had enough mass to collapse after going supernova but not enough to colapse into a black hole or Neutron star. A nebula is a large clustering of mainly hydrogen gas and a few other atoms, useually the remnants of a super nova or still unformed remnants of the big bang, that forms new stars. (yes, my answers are long and complicated because I know the subject, your don't have to be, you could have said something as simple as one is a star and the other is a gas cloud)

So let's get out of space and into a more earthly matter: Granite and Limestone.

One requires your cards to add up to 21, while the other requires you to get certain combinations of cards.

An autobiography is a written story of the writers life. Memoirs are considered a subclass of autobiography, but there actually just bits of memories, or in more understandable terms, there when you reminisce about something.

L is more of a game play and he prefers to screw with your mind until breaking point...and he loves candy. Near is a childish version of L only he likes to plan events more thoroughly and make sure he gets it right....and he likes to play with toys.
